Ever since we discovered pet paradise we have loved every second of it. While we do think the price is high, it does feel like you get what you pay for. Pets are well socialized and most requests are accommodated. Would highly recommend this location. Lots of activities around the pool. Looks like they take care of cats and have some very VIP dog rooms.

They let you book day care with expired vaccinations (they get vaccinated at pet paradise) and you make plans and drive all the way there. Lug your two large dogs in the lobby and THEN they tell you you can’t leave your dogs there. They …

Please also reference Paige McNichol’s review. My dog Mochi was boarded with Pet Paradise for three nights and we also purchased all day play for our little guy (29.9 lb golden-doodle… not so little). We were told that a 29 pound dog would go with the larger dogs. Once we arrived they told us that he would have to go with smaller dogs. We let that slide. While we were away, we checked the cameras, and on a few occasions, we noticed that Mochi was not outside being allowed to play. When we called, we were told they were short-staffed. Other reviews have stated they were told the same thing when confronted. When we picked him up today, the young lady wanted to charge us for all day play today. Then I mentioned to her on our whole drive home, we reviewed the cameras and he was never outside. Meaning that our dog was left in a kennel all day and not allowed to go out. She didn’t question it and said oh I’m sorry. When he was brought out to us, the stench was so overwhelming. He was drenched in urine. Once we got to the car, we noticed he had feces and gnats all over him. So does the staff actually clean the kennels while the dogs are there or are the dogs required to lay and move around in their own urine and feces while in the kennel? Because this is not something that has ever happened with our dog at any other boarding facility. The photos that I’m posting shows a dog, the same size in the larger dog area when we were told ours couldn’t be in there. In addition, it shows how filthy our little guy was once we left and what extreme we had to go through to take care of him once we got home due to the lack of care provided by staff and management. I would recommend not boarding your pet at this location unless of course you have a VIP room and you can watch your pet while they are in their room at all times.

“Paradise” is laughable; I’m sure my dog lived in a nightmare while he stayed here. I drop my dog Mochi off on Friday (12/29) and picked him up Monday afternoon (1/1). My dog is 29.9 pounds (almost 30). We were told he seemed too small to go with the larger dogs. But they said they could try him with the larger dog group and see how he does. Great! He LOVES other dogs and often plays with dogs the size of those in the large group so I assumed we wouldn’t have an issue. I get a txt saying that my dog is SCARED of the large dogs. Lies. My dog has never in his life been scared of another dog. He is a goldendoodle with so much energy he doesn’t know what to do with it. He would play with a bear if I let him. However, I didn’t feel like arguing since they may take it out on him, so I let that slide. I look at the webcam Saturday to see what he’s up to. He’s not outside. I leave it a bit and check again…still not outside. I call asking why he isn’t out when we pay for all day play. The excuse? They were short staffed. That’s funny because it seemed ALL other small dogs were outside, so where was my dog? After I called asking where he was I see him outside only a matter of minutes later. Didn’t seem like they were as short staff as they claimed since they handled that quickly. I keep watch on the webcam since I want him to have fun while he’s there and I enjoy watching my pup play. I find that the person in the play area with him is completely ignoring him. He often follows people around seeking pets and attention. So of course this happened with the individual outside. They then got down to pet and praise other dogs but left my dog out. Interesting. I made note and left that as well. Here’s where I’m not as quiet. I check on him Monday on the drive home multiple times. Note, we had all day play scheduled for Monday as well. My dog was nowhere in sight outside AT ALL. From 11-3 I checked the cameras and saw all dogs but my dog. Now I’m livid. We get there to pick him up and my anger gets even worse when I see and smell the condition of my dog. He smelled like dog pee. I am not exaggerating, I thought he had peed right on me from how strong it was. Then I look at his paws and they are SOAKED. Wasn’t water. How do I know? He stepped in the car and got a paw print on the center console that stunk of dog urine. Now I’m concerned. How is a dog COVERED in dog urine? Yes, he’s a hyper boy, but he has NEVER (what I imagine it would’ve taken to smell this bad) ROLLED AROUND in his or another dog’s urine. I get him home and start looking him over and he is COVERED in dog feces. Here’s another red flag, since he is very careful to avoid his own feces when walking outside, so how is it he’s covered in it now? I have provided photos where I had to chop off hair to get the feces off since it had matted his hair and was unremovable…. What makes it worse, is that gnats were living in those mats in his fur, bothering him and causing him to chew himself raw…. You could barely touch his rear without him whining. I go to give him a bath, and to just get the stench off his body, I had to scrub and rinse him 3 times with 3 different products. He was so exhausted he could barely stand while bathing him. I got him all cleaned and dried and started to get his toys and treats out of the basket we had provided. I’m glad I washed his toys the day before I dropped him off, because now I know FOR SURE that he wasn’t given ANY of his toys while he stayed there. Why tell me to bring his toys if your staff doesn’t care enough to give them to him? If he stunk that badly I’m sure his toys would’ve looked and smelled just as poorly. His treats were also not touched. I can make assumptions about what went on behind the webcams, and I can say I see now why they don’t have webcams in the kennel areas. He did not get any toys/treats while there so I’m made to wonder if they simply took the proportioned food bags and threw those away instead of feeding him. My dog was mistreated here and I will never come back.

My lab shakes a bit going in … until … the moment comes where she gets to join the party at their dog bone-shaped pool. While the playtime and swimming is a favorite of my dog, the employees are lovely and enthusiastic. The staff is truly outstanding.

Staff was nice and the few I dealt with were clearly dog lovers, just by their interactions with all the dogs that came in, even after their owners left. Place looked clean from my vantage point. Dog play area is in plain sight behind a huge window, has a nice sized dog pool and was a very clean area as well. There is a vet on site, that's always reassuring when you board your pet. The only downside for me was the cost. My dog only has had daycare there a few times.

I just got my dog Piper, she weighed 25 lbs when i got her. I was boarding her here until i got her approved with my school. When i picked her up today me and my friend noticed she looked extremely skinny. It looks as if they did not feed her with the food I provided. I included before and after photos for reference. Do not come here, after discovering this I no longer have a positive relationship with PetParadise

We initially brought our dogs to Pet Paradise on a “Meet the Fam” day. We loved the report card and updates on how they were doing during their time there. They spent the entire day playing and having fun with other dogs. I appreciate that the staff did a behavior evaluation prior to putting our dogs with others. They love other dogs and enjoy the company. We most recently used Pet Paradise for boarding services as we had to go out of town. They were very accommodating with our last minute reservation and answered all of my questions. I had called back to add on grooming services, extra playtime (on top of the two play times that are included with boarding), and the daily check-ins. We are so incredibly pleased with our experience at Pet Paradise. I am not sure if they have gotten new management (based on some of the older reviews), but we had absolutely no issues while we were gone and after pick up. The daily report cards were done so well. Providing us with updates on how they were doing, new friends they were making, their demeanor, and plenty of update pictures. We are so happy with our experience. The dogs also were groomed well and were nice and clean when we came to pick them up. The facility was extremely clean and the staff was very attentive to our pups while we were out of town. Highly recommend!
